It's time to play more of The Last Spell, where today's goal is to get our economy rolling so that we can benefit a few days in the future. We need to build the Inn for an additional Hero. I'd love to upgrade the shop. And let's not forget about the Armorsmith, a building that is tied to another whole line of useful meta progression. But it all starts with generating money, which is something that seems to be in infinitely short supply here at the end of the world.

The Last Spell is a game that promises a lot: tactical combat and city building on top of surviving wave after wave of hellish creatures attempting to tear it all down. The art direction is solid and the soundtrack is amazing. But presentation aside, I'm happy to report that even in Early Access the gameplay loop works and works quite well. There's solid Meta Progression to help you continue to build towards something bigger, but for now one rule is clear: you will die. A lot. The fates have great designs for you, Commander.
