Digimon Adventure (PSP, English Sub): Part 86: Side Quest 20
1So far so good! This 20th Side Episode is looking to be the final one in the game!
Kari was still lamenting Pixiemon's death to Piedmon earlier. She really wanted to build a grave to honor him (just like what Mimi did for Whamon in Side Quest 18).
So Tai decided to let the whole team gather flowers and such for the funeral for his little sister's sake.

As you gather the flowers, you run into opportunities to raise Kari's Bonding Rank with Tai, Izzy, and Sora.

Once the gathering was finished, the grave was built and Kari commenced the funeral. She desired to try her very best to fight in the Digital World despite her lack of experience in it and her lack of training from Pixiemon both his death compared to everyone else.
That's when Digitamamon showed up, and he was really hungry for the food the kids set for Pixiemon's grave. This leads into a gameplay fight against him.
This fight has Digitamamon calm down. He recognized the DigiDestined for the restaurant trouble he gave them before.
Tai allowed him to eat the food that was meant for Pixiemon, believing that's what he would've wanted them to do.
It was here that Digitamamon learned that Pixiemon sacrificed himself to save the team's lives, and that he was just one of several other Digimon that have done the same for them against the Dark Masters.
Two of the Dark Masters have been defeated at this point, so now it was time to hunt down the other two and complete their avenging of their fallen Digimon friends.
You get a strong Digipiece for beating this final Quest: a DEF Boost V.
