Welcome to my Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Complete Edition let's play. My name is digidv85 but please call me dig for short. This is not a blind let's play. It will feature both Cyber Sleuth and Hacker's Memory playthroughs entirely on hard difficulty to completion. All side cases, main cases and offline tournaments will be shown; although Wanted Hackers in either game are up in the air due to relying on RNG. Repeatable cases in Hacker's Memory will only be shown once. It will not feature any multiplayer. Gameplay shown on Nintendo Switch.

About Game: Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Complete Edition is a compilation package that contains both games in the Cyber Sleuth series; Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker's Memory. It was released October 18th, 2019 on Nintendo Switch and on PC through Steam a day earlier. The Complete Edition also includes most of the DLC that is no longer available on the PS4 versions. Like with the PS4 editions, no English dubbing is present. Other changes are present in this package such as accessing Hacker's Memory exclusive Digimon in the OG Cyber Sleuth.

Gameplay: Both titles of the Cyber Sleuth series are JRPGs and played from a third person perspective. The basis of battling involves arranging a group of Digimon as party members to deal with the many encounters present. All fights are turn-based with upwards of three Digimon on the front lines. Guest characters occasionally help out as well. Eight additional monsters can be held in reserve and everyone gets experience in the process. The two games' timeline plays out side by side, while in control of different protagonists per experience. Cases are the mainstay of the story. Aside from mandatory ones, there are also numerous optional and side cases that can be done as well. A PvP mode is included although entirely optional. Exploration is usually limited in a linear fashion as the gameplay isn't truly open world. Cyber Sleuth contains 20 chapters including a prologue while Hacker's Memory has 18 chapters, also including a prologue. A New Game Plus exists for both games.

Release: The OG Cyber Sleuth released in Japan on March 15th, 2015 for PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4. While never intended to have an American release, fan petitioning eventually had Bandai Namco premiere Cyber Sleuth on February 2nd, 2016 with English translations. The sequel launched first in Japan at some point in 2017, later for Western territories in 2018. A Nintendo Switch release known as the Complete Edition came out on October 18th, 2019 with a PC port launching a day earlier. A version of the PlayStation 4 Complete Edition never came to American audiences.

Cyber Sleuth Sales: The PlayStation Vita version of Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth sold 76,760 copies in its debut week in Japan, becoming the third high-selling title for the week. Although initial sales were less than its predecessor, Digimon World Re:Digitize, Cyber Sleuth managed to sell approximately 91.41% of all physical copies shipped to the region, and would go on to sell a total of 115,880 copies by the end of 2015, becoming the 58th best-selling software title that year. In the UK, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth was the 11th best selling game in the week of release. The PlayStation Vita version was the best selling digital title in North America and Europe. The game also has good performance among Latin American countries (#2 Brazil,[38] #3 Mexico, #3 Argentina, #3 Chile, #3 Costa Rica, #4 Guatemala, #6 Perú, #9 Colombia) and the PlayStation 4 version was the 20th best selling digital title in North America and the 19th in Europe on the PlayStation Store in the month of its release in their respective categories. By May 2019, Cyber Sleuth had sold over 800,000 copies worldwide. The Switch port of Complete Edition sold 4,536 copies in its first week in Japan. By October 2020, Cyber Sleuth and Hacker's Memory had shipped more than 1.5 million units worldwide combined.

Hacker's Memory Sales: In Japan, Hacker's Memory suffered lower than expected sales.[30] According to Media Create sales data, the Vita version sold 24,636 copies in its debut week, with the PlayStation 4 version selling 20,890 copies, becoming the ninth and tenth highest-selling software titles respectively for that period in the region. In the UK, Hacker's Memory was the tenth best selling game in the first week of its release. Hacker's Memory was the highest selling PS Vita game of 2018 in the US. The Switch port of Complete Edition sold 4,536 copies in its first week in Japan. By October 2020, Hacker's Memory and Cyber Sleuth had shipped more than 1.5 million units worldwide combined.
