Minor spoilers ahead:

The final level in the NG+ exclusive Mugen dungeon has you fight against five powerful Digimon gods- Fanglongmon, Zhuqiaomon, Baihumon, Ebonwumon and Azulongmon.

Hard mode inflates their stats to ridiculous levels- it's only because I farmed a huge amount of stat boosting items from prior Mugen dungeon runs that I dumped on Falcomon and Agumon that I was even able to land a hit or deal damage. Even then, I needed to do some careful buff management, position my digimon carefully and get lucky at parts to survive through the fight. I'm sure if I had a better team or grinded more this would have been easier but I was just satisfied to get through this with what I had.

The bosses each have a ton of health and a big explosion/beam attack that causes various status effects. Unlike the other four, Fanglongmon's attack is non-elemental. Since there's no way to resist it and it deals enormous damage, I try to target him down early despite him being the hardest to kill. The second most dangerous skill is from Ebonwumon who has a very annoying confusion causing AOE that can instantly end a fight attempt if you get awful luck, but thankfully he went down before using it. The other three bosses aren't too bad to deal with as long as you don't take multiple on at once, which is why I had Gallantmon running off to the side and baiting the AI to follow them which managed to delay them a good chunk.

For winning this fight (on any difficulty) you get the Dual Strikes Crystal, which effectively doubles your damage output by duplicating any attack you make as well as giving you a nice set of offensive stat boosts. Obviously this is an incredible item and will allow any Digimon using it to demolish most of the storyline content. Both Falcomon and Agumon are using one from prior runs and it was definitely necessary to dish out the level of damage I needed to beat the bosses quickly.
