The Ebony Warrior is the second "superboss" of Skyrim, accessible only from a random encounter after you hit lv 80. He fights just like any other human battlemage, but he's very fast, incredibly durable, and on Legendary can instantly kill you from any health with a lucky shot from either his Unrelenting Force shout or his bow. I've seen some other videos of this fight on Youtube, but they all use dumb exploits to win. To ensure this fight was actually a challenge, I put up some rules for myself in advance:

No Alchemy exploit on items. The only smithing/enchanting potions I'm willing to use are those I can buy in shops.
No companions or summoned creatures.
No healing potions.
No sneak attacks.
No abusing the environment to get The Ebony Warrior stuck (or prevent me from being hit).
No gimmick weapons like the Wabbajack or Mehrunes Razor.
No use of fall damage from Unrelenting Force (even though the Ebony Warrior abuses it to hell and back).
No modded spells/weapons/armor/whatever.

My weapon of choice was a heavily improved Enhanced Dwarven Crossbow with Absorb Health and Magika Damage enchantments. The crossbow cuts through 50% of an enemy's armor, which is extremely useful this fight. Slow-mo strafing can also be used to dodge his arrows, just like with every other enemy.
