Just arrived slightly too late for Seadramon so we wander around a bit. I decide to get another Moldy Meat so I can do the Frigimon event later. Tried Drimogemon again but the tunnel still isn't ready.
Then as expected, Centarumon turns into Giromon. Sadly we don't have any good moves, Metal Sprinter is weak and only useful against multiple enemies like the move Tremor. With the current stats Giromon has, we can pretty much defeat all bosses even if we don't have any good moves.
Time for Ogremon part 3, find Whamon in Freezeland and you'll battle Ogremon yet again. One important thing to mention, Giromon has the worst Finisher in the game. It often gets stuck outside of the battlefield, and when it doesn't you have to manually lead your enemy towards the bomb which isn't always possible. After a long battle, we win and recruit Whamon.
Time for Ice Sanctuary, here you'll need a Vaccine Type Digimon. There are a couple of tough battles ahead since we don't have any strong moves. Luckily, the enemies often hit each other but be prepared for 2 long battles if you also have a Giromon. I'm really glad we at least learned Megaton Punch, it's a decent but reliable move and it'll carry us through the rest of the game believe it or not. We recruit Angemon and head towards Factorial Town with Whamon.
Avoid the enemies there, I hate fighting against the PlatSukamon and Geremon while the Guardromons are a bit too bulky to quickly deal with. Talk with the Numemon in the sewer as well as Andromon and the Guardromons standing at the factory entrance. Wait till the right time and you can fight Giromon.
Afterward, return to Andromon then Numemon, and back again to Andromon. You'll be able to recruit Numemon immediately while you have to wait a while for Andromon and Giromon.
Return home and head towards the Lake again. A regular fishing rod ( the one from Trash Mountain) and regular meat or mushroom are enough to fish out the Guardian of the Lake. Ask to be friends and you'll receive a flute while gaining access to Beetleland. Recruit both Kuwagamon and Kabuterimon.
