Digital Electronics 101: The Intro Stuff & Bits
6So this is going to be a series covering topics from basic binary calculations to understanding all the logic gates, to creating combinational logic, then moving into microprocessors and computer architecture, and so much more
My main interest for doing this series stems from my days in the nuclear navy where I almost failed out of a boolean logics class, to then rediscovering logic gates thru minecraft way back in November of 2010, to then in the past few years getting into creating my own synth modules and breadboard computers.
most recently, here on my channel I played a game called Turing Complete. i was slightly frustrated with the manner in which they presented the information during the learning process from level to level. it appeared to be designed for someone that already has a semi decent understanding of computer circuitry.
I decided that i would like to re-learn myself and thru that also pass on the information to anyone who would also be interested in learning about this topic
While i am by no means even close to being an expert, i do know enough to get me into trouble. so please join me on this journey as we learn, discuss, and create with Digital Electronic Theory!
