Improvise, adapt, overcome - key tenets of victory that have seemingly been applied to more… passive behaviour nowadays, like millennials successfully completing their food shop in record time.
But, those same tenets are rooted in action - engaging with an enemy, learning their behaviours and adapting our own, and overcoming them to be victorious.
The element of surprise, adapting to the unknown, and sometimes a little bit of luck, are all key to victory in action games, which is why we’ve brought together a breadth of experts in the genre to speak about how to design fighting games that have RNG elements. Does surprise add to authenticity? How do players respond to your game?
