Dinosaur Fight
2This is an A.I upscaled version of one of the first video sequences I had ever seen on PC. It came from an interactive learning game called "Microsoft Dinosaurs" released in 1993 for Windows 3.1. The original aspect ratio was 240x180 so while the quality is still terrible here, this is probably the best it's going to get.
As a kid I found it particularly violent. So even though the "game" of it was just clicking on facts about dinosaurs, I always felt there was something far more sinister lurking somewhere on the disc. I revisited it many times to see this poor CGI dino get ambushed. Seeing these "realistic" animations come to life on the PC screen for just under three minutes felt like watching an entire movie. Back then I could have been convinced Bill Gates has some real dinosaurs in his closet. Well, maybe not. I didn't even know he existed at that point and technology had just materialized out of nowhere for everyone to enjoy in my mind.
