Wondering how the new PS4 Jailbreak works? I was too.

[Quick update:] using http://leeful.42web.io/9v1/ instead of https://chendochap.github.io/pOOBs4/ removes the need to send a payload from PC or Android after the USB bit. And don't forget to remove your USB after you're done loading from it. Starting the PS4 with this in can cause some problems, so I've heard. Not sure if it's true or not but I would heed that warning, regardless.

First, set your DNS server/s to:

Primary: 165.227.83.145
Secondary: 192.241.221.79

in order to ensure you don't end up with a higher official firmware update from Sony.

Be sure to take note of your current IP address as well, you'll need it later.

Update to 9.00 firmware:

Download the exfathax.img:

Write it to a USB drive with Win32 Disc Imager (or relative software; belena etcher, perhaps)

Now on the PS4, go to the web browser and visit the page:

It will tell you when to put in the USB. It may fail the first time, whatever, hit 'X' until it doesn't.

Eventually it will say 'Awaiting payload'. At this point send GoldHen2.0b over:
