So this is the end of this run of Steam Next Fest Demos. Dipolmacy is Not an Option was a game I expected to be some kind of combat wave clear simulation. What I wasn't expecting was a fairly robust town building side of the game. Sure, the focus is on clearing out pockets of enemies and waves of baddies akin to The Riftbreaker or They Are Billions, but everything already feels really tight. The only reason I put down the demo was time, but this is definitely a game worth revisiting.
