So far the NeoHumans are surrounded by paper tigers in this RotP matchup. Everyone is stronger than us, but instead of blowing us to bits they keep redesigning their ships instead of staging an offensive. With two artifact planets, this is pretty much my only chance to survive. I've got to tech up and tech hard. Otherwise I will eventually get overwhelmed by somebody. The balance of power is too askew.

Remnants of the Precursors is a rebuild of the 4x classic Master of Orion, a game that digs deep into the four fundamentals of explore, exploit, expand, and exterminate. The game pits a number of different sci-fi races and cultures against each other both for galactic domination and to find out the truth behind old technology left by the aptly named Orions. Players can choose to peacemonger their way into the helm of the galactic council, or you can design your own ships and obliterate other planets from orbit. The important decisions come early, and the game gives you a lot of options for how to tackle problems. But at the end of the day, not everyone you encounter will be friendly. Is it time to open fire and engage?
