Codemasters, the makers of DiRT 3, DiRT Showdown, as well as the GRID and Formula 1 racing games, have gone back to the drawing board with this one. In DiRT Rally, currently in early access, they've stripped away all the oft-complained about fluff of the previous DiRT games for a "true rally simulator." It's very difficult: No rewinds and damage is always on and carries through from race to race.
