Disaster at the lab! My PSU went up in smokes!
44It wasn't a sad day though, however it did cause me an hour of delay in publishing my review.
This is my story of how my power supply unit went up in smokes when I was doing work.
While the Smart DPS G from Thermaltake is not a high-tier PSU regardless which PSU tier list you refer to, it is a decent PSU for my sub-200W workload machine and it lasted a good 4 years.

Just to re-cap if you didn't watch. This is what happened to me, if it happens to you - SHUT DOWN (even if you have to force off). Unplug the PSU ASAP. Also while we're on this topic of PSU - always choose a good power supply and make sure your computer is not near any thing that can catch fire.
