This video affirms that you should never leave a 2.5mm driver jack port wired handsfree earpiece headset with microphone connected to a Panasonic cordless home phone handset, especially model number KX-TGA641C, as two different handsets of this model number have each disabled the microphone capabilities of my 2.5mm driver jack port wired handsfree earpiece headsets, all due to leaving them connected to the cordless handsets when not in use.
