As part of our International Tabletop Day celebration, Ivan Van Norman had the opportunity to speak to Dr. Irving Finkel. Irving Finkel is the Assistant Curator of Ancient Mesopotamian script at the British Museum in London, England. The two discussed many things, one of them being the oldest-known rulebook in ancient history.

This rulebook is a tablet that dates back four millennia to the city of Ur, and describes the oldest board game in the world. Watch Ivan’s discussion with Irving now!

This discussion aired during the Geek & Sundry International Tabletop Day 2017 stream to support Extra Life.
