I play through the rest of Episode 1 here. At the end of Ep1 you get Red Magnus. During the demo I thought he was completely lame with the SUPER every 5 seconds and stealing all The Rock's catch phrases. Alas, I think Im too tired when Im playing now.... if Im smirking to this. It's eye rolling-ly bad.. and maybe thats for the best lol.

I check out my Evilties for the first time. They are basically powerful passives many of them unique to the story or generic character. In addition to the 1 unchangeable unique, there are about 6 slots for other evilities which cost a varying degree of slots.

I check a couple of new shops in the pocket netherworld. The innocent shop lets you freely and quickly move around innocents, even if they're not captured. Thats great! Innocents provide buffs and they can be stacked and stacked. This will be very important much later.

Also there is a skill shop. Skills in the older disgaeas got more powerful through using them over and over. Now, just using them makes their SP cost go down and range (in terms of how far away you can cast spells) better. The Skill Shop allows you to actually boost their power which is rated by a level grade. The SP cost to use and Mana cost to unlock increases very fast. Furthermore, the coverage area for spells also has to be increased here. Looks like it will take a while to get a 9x9 spell attack due to the high mana costs.
