Hey there Chelsea Cannell Here with a review round-up on Disney's highly anticipated Flick Prom. Who doesn't remember being asked to the prom? some stories were funny, some romantic, some downright pathetic but all memorable nonetheless. Hopefully for disney's much anticipated flick, their trip to the box office will also be worth remembering! So before you head out and buy your tickets- lets check out how the film is stacking up with the critics!
Entertainment Weekly had this to say: " At first, Prom seems a little innocuous, but this winning after-school trifle has a savvy heart that grows on you."
The Associated press echoed that with their review that reads" Prom means well -- and it grows on you. And it's much less of a hassle than schlepping to the real thing."
But variety wasn't really having it saying" For the target audience, Prom musters a few nice moments, perhaps, but nothing remotely approaching perfection -- and hardly any memorable ones.
