First, we had Dance Dance Revolution (and its knockoffs/progeny/"inspired by's"/etc.), Rock Band's drums, Wii Sports/Fit/etc., Kinect, and more. Now, nearly 20 years post-DDR, immersive virtual reality takes active movement and exercise in gaming to a whole new level, forcing not only reflexive actions, but extensive use of space and general movement.

Using the Vive, in this brief video I demo Holopoint (http://store.steampowered.com/app/457960/), a straightforward (no pun intended) wave-based archery game that keeps you on your toes with targets that not only shoot back, but eventully swing swords and shoot fireballs at you. After the ~10 wave mark you'll REALLY be moving, dodging, swaying, etc., and working up quite a sweat while getting the ol' heart rate up.

Here I'm at the later stages - waves 20-27. It gets crazy but is TREMENDOUSLY fun and is a solid workout (according to my Fitbit). Seriously, those little Vive controllers get surprisingly heavy after a little while.
