The shmup section of this game. If you shoot enemies enough until they're weakened and red, you can suck them up and gain their abilities. You can store two different weapons and four options. You lose your weapons if you get hit.

You can get options that shoot homing bullets, but they are not nearly as useful as the options that cancel bullets. They are also a bit of a liability on the asteroids boss. Cancel options are very useful for the denser bullet patterns, since you can get rid of a lot of the bullets by positioning the options on top of dense bullet clouds.

Crash bomb is useless except for the stage 1 boss, where it does splash damage to multiple parts. The laser pierces enemies and is good for the asteroids boss. For the rest you want to stick to homing for stages and drill for bosses and tougher enemies. Drill also pierces the asteroids on stages.

3-3 end has a bunch of big aimed asteroids. Just use some u-streaming to misdirect them and make it through. For the asteroids boss you want to leave one of the huge pieces near the side of the screen in order to not cause too big of a mess.

I'd like to see a Cave-style shmup that incorporates Unreal Guy.
