Disturbing Video Game Music 48: Ring Around the Rosie

So yeah, this song. While I feel "Twinkle Twinkle" is somewhat creepier due to how perfectly it captures the essence of being isolated in space, this one, depending on who you talk to, will give it a run for its money. Putting aside the fact that this nursery rhyme is already disturbing on its own (its lyrics are about the Black Plague!), the singer sounds half-dead singing this; it's made worse by the increasing loudness of the sound effects in the song's background, almost overtaking the lyrics near the end.
If I could compare this best with "Twinkle Twinkle", it's that it's louder and there's more details to take note of when compared to the eerie quietness of "Twinkle Twinkle"; it's representative of the games they're in; Dead Space 2 is said to be more of an action-based than the sci-fi horror story presented in the original Dead Space.
