Divine Intervention | Liftlands (City Builder God Game - Demo)
172Liftlands is a city-building God game where we look after a little tribe of people and help them grow from primitive folks all the way through to enlightened people in charge of an Empire! However things start at the very beginning so we're dealing with a more primitive stone-age type arrangement.
As a God, albeit one learning on the job, we have the ability to lift our followers and move them about to assign them particular roles. At first our followers are a little bit on the nudey side but once assigned they wear the attire suitable for the job they've been given.
We begin with just some gatherers who run about and gather some simple things like sticks, flint, grass and feathers. We can then build things like a workbench or a lumbermill, which eventually opens up more options for us. However food is always a pressing need for us and we do struggle to keep everybody fed, despite our Godly abilities!
As our followers worship us we're able to pick up new abilities, such as healing or smiting with lightning, which does come in handy because every night we're attacked by troublesome baddies, so hitting them with lightning is splendid!
As time ticks by things become more and more advanced, but can we achieve the ultimate peasanty goal of... baking some bread?!
