What's fun about this subclass is you fill the role of a damage dealer as well as a healer with some special benefits. You get to choose cleric spells, which includes things like Spirit Guardians and planar ally. This gives you a whole bunch of options when it comes to combat, as well as utility to help out your team. This is a really fun class and I would recommend giving it a shot because it just adds so much uniqueness to BG3.
