"Divinity" by Ragnarus | Geometry Dash 2.11
907It's been over a year since I uploaded Enlightenment by Ragnarus, and I wrote that I'd be looking out for future levels by him. I'm glad this is the same quality, if not better. There's a lot of really cool designs and art to be found throughout this, and I like how it keeps the nature theme consistent. This is over 2 minutes long, so I'm sure it took a lot of effort, which probably explains the long gap since the last one.
The mix of highly detailed block designs and art may sound good on paper and end up looking good, but actually playing it is something else. This level suffers from that at some parts, for example at 0:45. The orbs and the decoration around them blend in way too well with the background, making it hard to read, and the detailed block designs doesn't help the player's sight either. The key is to find a good balance of detail, as well as using colors that stand out more on gameplay elements, to make it better to play. 1:30 is a good example of this. Despite some unclarity in the gameplay, though, this is a very cool art level, and I think it will be about 7 stars because of its length.
