Divisi Jabotabek (Safe and Sound Edit)
My first edit ever, hopefully you'll like it.
A litte hello from the dark past of Indonesian, specifically Jakarta greater metropolitan area's railway system, where since 1925 have used electrified trains.
Though the usage of electric trains were halted in 1965, it came back in 1976 after the introduction of ED101 series produced by Nippon Sharyo and Kawasaki Heavy Industries.
This series will continue to operate for 37 years before him. and many of his other compatriots were retired due to lack of air-conditioning.
But everything seems so bright here, when did the dark part of Jakarta's railway actually starts? Well to answer that to you, it's either 1993 or 1994 after the Ratu Jaya train accident where two electric trains collide with each other and leaving only four cars usable.
Starting from this year, trains, not just electric trains were getting poor maintaince and treatment to them. Jammed doors, broken fans, people riding on top of the roof despite the danger, and so on...
This terrible sight of the railway lasted until September 2013, where PT. Kereta Api Indonesia and KRL Commuter Jabodetabek stopped using non-airconditioned economy class trains. Marking an end to an era where Indonesian railway were viewed poorly and unruly.
