(Happy New Year!) Cipinang Rail Depot Hornfest on 12:00 AM, 01 January 2023.
0Happy New Year! I know it's late, but I completely forgotten to upload this video to YouTube, being to focused on Facebook these days.
So for 10 minutes, starting on 12:00 AM til 12:10, all the train engines that were parked in Cipinang Rail Yard or Depot blows their horn in full power. It's loud, really loud. I wish you were here so you could hear it truly and enjoy the moment. The video file size itself is humongous, 2.2 gigs!
This hornfest is actually a tradition, continuing from the old Jatinegara depot annual horn-blowing fest before the depot itself got demolished and then replaced by Cipinang depot since 2018. The tradition was halted for 2020 and 2021 edition though, probably due to local lockdowns rule to prevent crowds.
