DIY - converting a USB 2.0 extension cable to microUSB charging cable ... because I can [part1]
Turned out to be kinda' a sleepy video, but I think if you fast forward, you get some valuable information about cables and hot glue.
In the end I tried the cable and it charges, but I still have to try it with a better charger and phone, which can charge at 2.4A. Some cables can only do 1A, so I'm curious to find out if this converted extension cable can handle it.
