DIY Numberblock 150 from Tiny Magnetic Cubes - Fun Counting Tutorial for Kids
For this tutorial we used... can you count how many blocks? A little surprise!
Please mind that this is not a REAL Numberblock 150 (we have no idea how it looks like). We just had so much fun connecting all these tiny magnetic blocks up to number 150.
Our Numberblock 150 is just a mix of Ones, Twos, Threes, Fours and Tens. You can combine them in lots of ways.
Have fun watching!
For this crafts project we used Pixio Magnetic Construction Cubes. We designed the eyes (the don't come in Pixio sets) in Photoshop and printed them and glued to our cubes.
If you don't have Pixios you can use Legos... or even Playdough ;)

We hope that this video will be an example for you how to use toys such as magnetic cubes to enliven your math lessons, either at home or at school.

Disclaimer: Please understand that these are not real Numberblocks, just magnetic cubes connected together. We don't follow real Numberblocks to closely, so please understand that they are not identical (e.g. we didn't do mouths) etc.
