DIY Tactical Transducer Project - Part #1 Buying Parts
This is the first step in any project, going out and sourcing the things you need.
Find the best prices, and the best products for your project.
So this step by step video goes a bit into detail on what I purchased and why, but also goes off to talk about a few other products that were considered and why they maybe better for your project should you try to incorporate something like this into your own home.
Key Points:
Your amps make sure they are rated for the impedance you will be using, and that the rating is at a low THD (total harmonic distortion) and RMS not MAX.
You will probably want/need a crossover of some sorts to make sure ONLY low frequency sound reaches your transducer.
With transducers themselves think about how many you need, how they mount, and the size.
We will get onto mounting and things like that in a later video.
