DmC - glitching in Found (pt. 3)
I: Gliding to another map while a cutscene is going on can cause Dante to enter a strange state in which he looks to be Gliding slightly skewed. He will also move through all collision and triggers as if they weren't there. But you can't control Dante like this, so this trick might not come in handy.
II: in some circumstances you can do a Giant Stone Hand High Jump.
III: Gliding inside the Doll House while the cutscene of Kat complaining to you is going on, Dante freezes at the destination. Just retrying fixes this glitch.
IV: some invisible floor underneath the end level.
V: as findlestick showed already, finishing the second fight of the level with DT active causes some extra enemies to spawn after the fight is over. They have bad A.I. and will try to suicide the first opportune moment.
VI: using these enemies, you can get killed as you hit the Kat cutscene. This allows you to regain control during the cutscene. Nothing we couldn't already do, though...
VII: I took one of these extraneous enemies with me to the level boss. What a magnificent extra challenge! Now you had to fight against a Hunter AND a Stygian.
However, I found it really difficult to glitch either the pre-boss fight scene (Dante automatically runs away from the enemy and won't get hit) or the level end scene (even getting hit at an inopportune moment seems to do nothing) like this. Maybe with more tries in the future.
The extra enemy will die an environmental death automatically as the game shows you the real world Pier.
VIII: some sightseeing in front of Doll House. If you get there early, the octopus ride hasn't broken down and you can see it up close. Also, some of the dark onyx spikes are textured with the UDK test texture.
IX: the real name of the house is indeed Doll House, as the sign at the top of it says. (previously we just called it the "haunted house" or something similar).
X: if you try to skip the machine room fight by Gliding during its cutscene but get hit by the rotating wheels, you will probably get a softlock that looks like this.
XI: just testing something obvious, and that is Gliding away from the Kat cutscene as it is going on. Like expected, the cutscene ends and starts again depending on how close you are to the map.
I think the real world Pier is an unplayable area somewhere in the vicinity...
