With the BETA for DNF Duel coming up, or already happening right now, I wanted to build up more hype for the game for myself by playing the source of DNF Duel for the 1st time even, Dungeon Fighter Online.

I have always been aware of this game but I've actually never played it before, so this would have been the 1st time I actually try to play this game and to my surprise for a game that was released in 2005 it played alright.

Pros:
- It plays great
- lots of different combos with all the characters
- Tons of character selections I think last I counted there is like 30 something classes all with their own unique skills and combos
- The gameplay actually felt smooth and not bad
- Game was released in 2005 and there are people still playing it
- Very playable even if you just want to play the game solo
- The devs are still actively updating this game with new characters
- Character design looks amazing
- Skills and attacks has a lot of flair and looks great

Cons:
- Graphics looks dated but it is to be expected from a game coming from 2005
- FP system limits you to how much you can actually play the game for which is about 2 hours-ish each day
- The game allows for fighting game commands for the skills but does not have controller support, if it had controller support I think it would be nice to play it like a fighting game
- Game kinda broke and lagged a few times in coop dungeons where everything is not synced and it just breaks the dungeon making it so that we couldn't finish it.
- Game is definitely not smooth when it comes to playing coop with just lag, but that might be because I played the steam version.

It's good being an extremely old game I thought the game actually aged well gameplay wise. There are a lot of problems here and there but it is to be expected I guess from a game that has been around since I was probably in school still. But it's a fun game, it's making me even more excited to play DNF Duel when it comes. I might be streaming the BETA soon on my twitch so feel free to drop by there to get some DNF Duel Beta gameplay.
