It is a sad truth that far-right and white supremacist individuals flock to many of the same games us chad democracy enjoyers love. Perhaps is this never more true than for strategy games or media portraying empires and war, like what is done in Warhammer 40,000 and strategy games from Total War, Paradox, Age of Empires, and virtually every other strategy game out there. In this video, I discuss the implications of Games Workshop's statement, and take it a step further by discussing the ethics of playing as dictatorships or other empires of history.
