Here we tackle the Hard Time Attack Challenges for the trophy "Speed King" in order to receive the Time Attack Items.

Thirdly, it's the Knight [GAIUS] and the tactic is to lure it for a certain while the moment you gain control over Wander. If Gaius isn't a certain distance away from the pedestal, it won't smash it properly to break the wrist guard, wasting your precious time.

Also, make sure you get the timing right to jump toward the arm sigil as it is very easy to miss and fall down, leaving you with no option but to redo the whole luring and climbing struggles.

★ Personal Thoughts:

Gaius is possibly my first favorite Colossi and not in that it was easy at all. But rather because it was super fun and experimental. I remember on my first attempts, Gaius launched me way up into the air and threw me literally to the lake below and I ended up laughing for minutes on live stream. Sadly, the hack to use that force to catapult Wander on top of Gaius was limited to that time only and I opted not to indulge in such speed running anyway as it beats the purpose of the fight entirely.

The poster boy from 2018 remake has the best surrounding out of most of the Colossi on the entire list. Loved tackling Gaius as it's super easy to fall off of him with the slightest imbalance between my jump timings.But bby the end of it all I managed to learn the timing of his arm movement making it easy. Nevertheless, still one of the more nerve-wrecking Colossi out of all.
