Dog performs a ritual with a pizza crust

Give a dog a pizza crust and you'd expect that it would eat it right away (unless it's bad). Not my sister's dog, Fuzzbutt of all strange names. What my sister's dog does instead is carries it all over the house and attempts to "bury" it, even performing a "ritual" of sorts. When moving the pizza crust, she randomly wanders around, sometimes crying. She does this with pizzas that get ordered, like from Pizza Hut, Domino's, Marco's, Sarpino's, and whatever else. It's very funny that my sister's dog actually does this. Sometimes, she just leaves the pizza crust in the middle of nowhere, stashed in a corner, and once even in her water dish (mmmmm... pizza-flavored water!). There are times where the dog eats the crust after performing her "ritual" but it's not always the case.
