Donkey Kong Country 2 Speedrun - 40:54
4Beating DKC2 as quickly as I can. This is a landmark time that I'm happy with, but there are still more improvements to be made! See live at twitch.tv/kanis999
Areas to improve:
Red Hot Ride - missed cliffless and balloon jump (minor)
Glimmers - bumped into a couple walls
'Krakhead' Klamber - held onto some reeds too long, grabbed the reed at the end instead of rolling under
Mudhole - did a couple safe strats (no roll under midway, no moonwalk for kanon manip)
Rambi Rumble - missed bee skip and had collision with red bee in rambi section causing lag
Ghostly Grove - held onto a rope too long and did a safer strat for kloak at end of level
Gusty Glade - bounced on klampons in the beginning, grabbed a dk barrel by accident after midway
Web Woods - missed optimal rat roll, didn't go for up-in-2 after midway
Krow 2 - small mistake on 2nd series of ropes, took safe strat on 3rd hit
Arctic - worst level. multiple bonks on walls, damage taken x2
Clapper's Cavern - didn't jump to the goalpost properly
Toxic Tower - Missed one snake jump (that's actually pretty good)
Screech's Sprint - took tall vertical rope safely (vulture kills runs all the time), didn't do bee ring skip
Target Terror - did not grab swag balloon (Kappa)
These mistakes account for ~17 seconds of the 30 that world record pace would require. The rest of the 30 is movement errors too subtle for me to pinpoint at this time.
