I wanted to do Returns and Tropical Freeze for a long time and finally got around to do them. The music always sounded quite compressed and dirty to me, especially Returns. Tropical Freeze sounded better but I couldnt say why. Maybe because of David Wise or they were better encoded but who knows. I really love the music of these games and always wanted to do some quality upscale remasters of the entire soundtrack. But only now I could do it with a quality that I find acceptable and oh boy, so much joy to listen to them now. The remasters came out better than I expected and I also did lots of further mastering improvements for a clean and audiophile friendly sound. Everything is based on original platform rips so the Wii and Wii U. It should be noted though that this time around I decided not to loop them. They are often already long enough even with just one loop and somehow I just felt like they dont need to loop. So in most cases they fade out after one loop but some shorter tracks were actually looped.
