Donkey Kong Jr. (NES) L3-03: Mario's Hideout
The third level, known as Mario's Hideout, looks more like an electrical facility. It's more or less a simple set of four platforms with wires on the sides that you can climb, with the goal once again to reach Donkey Kong at the top. What makes it extremely complicated are all of the enemies called Sparks going around the place! There are two kinds of Sparks, colored blue and orange. Orange Sparks are simpler and stay on their starting platforms, rotating all the way around over and over again. The Blue Sparks continue to drop down from one platform to the other, dropping at specific spots on the platforms, probably outlets. This is may favorite stage in the game because of how chaotic it can become with all the Sparks going around. There are also two fruit items that can be knocked down to eliminate some obstacles to make the stage easier.
