Relationship deception can come in many forms such as:
-Catfishing or trolling (which can lead to trauma, depression, & anxiety)
-Pathological lying
-Secrets and manipulation
-Stalking and harassment
-Playing "mind-games," etc.
Catfishing, a common form of deception, is the act of deceiving someone, using a false persona, in order to obtain money, favors, or other forms of information.
Any kind of relationship deception can lead to something known as POST BETRAYAL SYNDROME.
