369GANGSTALKING is a subjective experience that isn't backed by much research.
Most articles on gangstalking comes up when the topic of paranoid delusions are discussed.
We, as clnicians, lack the research studies needed to make sense out of this experience and to help our clients.
My experience has been that the subjective experience of gangstalking is the result of family trauma, CPTSD, and PTSD in most cases.
Some mental health professionals believe gangstalking to be a complex phenomenon that has roots in unresolved trauma.
The qualitative research (i.e., research based on interviews alone) that have been done on gangstalking focuses on first-person expeirences alone, with little to no concrete research data. This makes it difficult for therapists to understand how to address this.
And most people with some kind of trauma also believe that they have experienced gangstalking at some point in their lives.
