From Operation Ajax in 1953, which overthrew a democratically elected prime minister, to the rise of Ruhollah Khomeini and the 1979 revolution, history shows that regime change doesn't bring peace—it brings blowback.
We’ve been down this road before: Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, Syria. The idea that Iran will somehow be different is naïve.
It’s time we stop pretending this is about keeping nukes out of enemy hands. If that were the case, we'd be applying the same logic to North Korea and Pakistan.
This isn’t about being “pro-Iran.” It’s about recognizing the costs of intervention, the reality of blowback, and the long trail of failure tied to American regime change in the Middle East.
