A small gift given to you by the Asari Consort on the Citadel was seemingly a red herring, and it wasn't until years later I stumbled upon it's purpose.

It's an incredibly fascinating and thrilling and possibly insignificant piece of lore that is hidden deep within Mass Effect that most people likely miss because of it's seeming insignificance to really anything in the game. Today, we are going to get into it, discuss what it means and what it foreshadows for later in the trilogy.
