Hello. 3rd map for Eddie Nguyen's UCA-series and quite possibly will be a little while, until next Doom-videos, as I'm planning to play, record and upload some footage from another game next!
( Just need to clear some space first... )
This level is mostly an open-walled red cave maze with several locations different from that.
It comes with a decent number of demons and almost two dozens of cacodemons, but you will at least get to use rocket launcher for cacos in this one. Plasma is also available, but you don't get to use it much.
So, mostly you shotgun your way through and occasionally use the chaingun. Depending on the use of weapons, you might be a bit short of ammunition, but you should be fine to the end.
Level isn't a difficult one, but it can be a bit slow. Suits should be saved, until you have gone around the level more, so you know, where to use it for your advantage.
Chainsaw could've been a nice reward for a secret, but perhaps it'd be also too easy then.
If you want to sacrifice all your health for easy exit, you could just stand on the more dangerous type of lava in the level, which actually lets you finish the level, once you reach very low health.
Bad choice of sector damage type there!
Demon-trap near Yellow Key was a strange one. I would've thought that it was meant to get you, when exploring that area, but by going towards Yellow Key from the closest way, you don't end up springing that trap at all.
Pretty average overall, nothing impressive, but at least tiny bit of spice added with the use of Hard Doom and its randomized spawns with those cacos in this level's case.
