100% Ultra Violence run of Valiant - Map01 "Bad Reception".

Oh boy here we go. Valiant is another one of my top 5 megawads and features lots of new textures, gameplay aspects, revolutionary engine shenanigans and even new weapons and monsters. It is often compared with Eviternity since both mapsets are extraordinarily designed, they introduce new monsters and come with a killer midi package. Overall, Valiant is more difficult but so greatly balanced. You'll see.

Episode 1 "A different Breed" starts off with a drop down into a concrete and slightly overgrown tech base.
You might have noticed the beefier super imps? They shoot faster projectiles than regular imps, in a combination of 2 throws per attack. Pinkys have been bulked up too, they move and bite way faster now, messing with my muscle memory. There are even more custom enemys later in the game which all are insanely dangerous. Also, the chaingunners don't drop chainguns but only clips? Hmm... At least the pistol has been beefed up too, it looks sick and fires a lot faster. But unlike in Eviternity, it doesn't shoot with 100% accuracy when holding down the fire button.
