A bit of a proof of concept video here. I think I became aware of Corruption Cards https://forum.zdoom.org/viewtopic.php?t=67939 from a Coincident video (always entertaining!) and unlike the many many mods I had to try this. I like that you are in control of what chaos you are letting loose, however at the same time, there is a certain amount of uncertainty. This means that playing Doom changes from a relaxing exercise in muscle memory to more of trying to plan and anticipate challenges!
There are so many options, you can have temporary challenges for just one level, the permanent ones.
I have this daft idea of wanting to try Doom 2 with permanent cards so at the end there would be 30 different modifiers and at that point you can't remember and keep up with all the combinations!
So as mentioned, if you haven't seen Corruption Cards, what do you think? I'll probably play and record it after I get a regular recordings of the levels done, but its something I'm REALLY looking forward to!
