If you thought the first two Doom games were scary enough, this game will get even scarier.

Doom 3 is the first reboot of the Doom series, and runs on id Tech 4. The game is more of a horror take on Doom, and is focused on slow-paced gameplay, rather than the fast-paced, action-packed DOS games. As such, reloading is required for the weapons, sprint is generally limited in singleplayer, and the game makes use of many dark areas that require the player to switch to their flashlight and back. But the thing that hyped me the most was the graphical improvements. The engine also makes use of GUIs within the in-game environments. When usable ones are looked at, the crosshair turns into a cursor that allows the player to use the computer in the game world. The game also has in-game cutscenes that introduce a new enemy or progress the story.

Many familiar weapons and enemies return, although some of them have redesigns. In addition, there are also enemies new to the series, and a few new weapons as well. I dunno, there's also many things about this game that make me have a good feeling.
