289Abyssal Marine is a DOOM gameplay mod made by @h3llw4lk3r2 the same guy behind other gameplay DOOM mod, HELLCRUSHER. Abyssal Marine is a great gameplay mod created by H3LLW4LK3R, basically this is an another take of the Power Fantasy mod in the DOOM setting.
You are turned into a titular Marine, who is basically a walking tank, covered by a super heavy power armor that stands out against any low caliber weapons. However there is also a huge catch in that gameplay mod, while a power fantasy it also adds new monsters to the roster - these new monsters are basically anti-tank demons. These new demons are the only ones who can basically take you down, but fear not because your Power Armor is sturdy plus you can barrage the enemies with your heavy fists and kicks that can charge up.
But there is also a weaponry to use, for example start from your one of the heaviest weapons in the arsenal that is a 50mm Flak Cannon that pierces through the armor and deals massive explosive damage. If you want something up close personal, you can grab your CHAINSWORD that is a weapon even way bigger than some of the enemies you can encounter, it has no problems with taking down most of the monsters. Chaingun is basically a machinery that is an example of full automatic, fast firing anti-tank explosive chaingun cannon, anything caught by its high explosive anti-tank rounds is mashed into a pulp.
Even three shotguns at your disposal (yes, a fully automatic shotgun is your standard weapon here) deal a lot of damage, plus in example of the Super Super Shotgun, the recoil is already huge and shells are piercing. Your Plasma Rifle is a very powerful fast firing rifle that deals plasma damage to the enemies, it also can set them on fire - additionally it leaves fire on the ground for additional damage. I forgot to write that your Power Armor is also equipped with high tech weaponry - you have a portable flamethrower attached to the left arm and there also duel Miniguns that serve as shoulder placed weapons.
