In this tutorial, you'll learn the basics of setting up Adobe After Effects for the most effective Doom animation workflow I know of. This will help you get around all of the obstacles I encountered when I started. AE is a fantastic special effects program, usually used for professional-level work in the film industry.

One of my hobbies is making Doom animations. I've recieved a lot of questions about how I do what I do, so I decided that I should just make a tutorial. I hope it helps! :)

I'm not a professional when it comes to video game design. If you know something I don't, or if I mess something up, I'd love to hear from you.

Currently, I'm working on Project Brutality, which has a thriving community of contributors. It's a wonderful project, and I'm glad to be a part of it.

Credits:
Doom is the property of ID Software.
Credit goes out to Carrot for making that sheet of Doomguy's hands in the video (though I don't know who made the individual sprites that are in the sheet).
Credit goes to Pa1nk1ller, is the lead developer on Project Brutality, and to all those who have helped make it possible.
The music is called Sphere, made by Mikael Manvelyan and pulled from Audioblocks.
