This video was long overdue not going to lie.

So everyone knows UnderTheMayo's Brawler Mode that he made up for DOOM 2016 and DOOM Eternal, Ranger Mode is the opposite of that. Ranger Mode is a creative mode made by Youtuber Broesnic43 where unlike Brawler Mode that focuses on the player being up close and personal, tearing through hell with mods like Full Auto and Micro Missiles, Ranger Mode as Broesnic43 put it "is about using your mobility to get into advantageous positions and use your long range attacks to effectively deal with the enemies". So here I've tried it out myself.

The mode like Brawler Mode has a bunch of different rules to provide the player with a challenge, here's what they are:

Ranger Mode Rules:

Sentinel Crystals:
Only 3 Armor Upgrades

Suit Upgrades:
No Frostbite
No Scatter Bombs
No Respawning Barrels
No Hit and Run
No Faster Dasher
No Faster Cool Down for Frag and Ice Bomb

Weapons:
No BFG
No Crucible
No SSG (This one Pains me ;-;)

Weapon Mods:
No Full Auto
No Micro Missiles
No Destroyer Blade
No Energy Shield
No Heat Blast
No Lock On
No Remote Detonation

Runes:
No Savagery
No Dazed and Confused
No Seek and Destroy

Other Rules:
Must do All Slayer Gates
No Blood Punch
Only 1 BFG Pick Up per Mission

Now obviously one of the rules is No Blood Punch and I've done that at 14:30 and 18:03, I hope you can excuse those two accidents as the first one was BS, all I did was punch the cage as I'm supposed to and the game used a Blood Punch, and second one, come on that tentacle was way too irrelevant to require me to restart over a Blood Punch.
