DOOM Eternal, Taras Nabad ML Classic Mode (No BFG/Unmaykr) - "Ultra Nightmare" | PS4
Took me long enough to make this, actually I've had the recording of me playing through Classic Mode like 3 days ago, but I always like to watch the footage beforehand to make sure it's good and without too many unwanted cuts like what usually comes when recording with the PS4, and because of work I didn't have much time to do that, so sorry for the delay.
Anyways this is Taras Nabad Master Level played on Classic Mode on Nightmare difficulty without dying, this is actually my first time beating Classic Mode as you can see in the end, because tbh I wasn't in a hurry to get the skins and I wanted my first completion of Classic Mode to be on a No Death Nightmare Run, so this is technically following the rules of Ultra Nightmare which is why the title is the way it is with the "Ultra Nightmare" part.
To summarize my experience I found that in the beginning of the level, being very careful with your Health and Armor helps to get through things faster, you're going to want to rely on a bunch of Blood Punches to Tear through the Heavies and Super Heavies that you'd otherwise deal with the Combat Shotgun and/or the Heavy Cannon. Once you get the Super Shotgun the level begins the feel more like normal as you can reliably PB-SSG everything until you get your Rocket Launcher and then the Ballista. The BFG in this version of Classic Mode is located in the secret where you must drop hundreds of feet into a sewer, I've never gotten good enough to reliably get the secret in one try so dropping down and missing the BFG, to my knowledge anyways, means playing the rest of the level without that particular weapon, oh well it's not like I use the BFG when I do have it in other playthroughs lol. In the Final Arena after you get the Crucible I was met with a very dangerous enemy that I had no choice but to use the Crucible on, so sadly this is not a "No Super Weapons" run as said enemy was a menace! :(
As always enjoy the gameplay, and if you like what ya see be sure to Like, Comment, and Subscribe for more!
