Time to learn how to kick Marauder assets to hell and back!

All of the footage captured was done on a Standard PS4 with a Standard Controller, no back buttons or paddles, on DOOM Eternal's Nightmare Difficulty. Here's a handcam video to show you how I do it: https://youtu.be/NlHhTPRoxBs

How to Perform the Techniques:

1. SSG Ballista SSG w/ Grenades or Blood Punch:
Simply do your standard switch between SSG and Ballista or the other way around, BUT if you plan to use Blood Punch, use it on the 2nd shot within the cycle, so SSG-Ballista-BP-SSG. If you're using Grenades throw one down after the first shot so something like SSG-Grenade-Ballista-SSG. The Grenades or Blood Punches will falter the Marauder again allowing you to sneak a shot from SSG or Ballista.

2. Speedrunner 1-Cycle:
Charge a Ballista Arbalest Shot, fire it when Marauder does the green eyes while throwing two grenades, switch to Rocket Launcher with Lock On mod while throwing grenades, and Fire two bursts of Lock On to finish the Marauder. (Hint: According to Xiae it's important to throw the first Grenade behind the Marauder then the second can go wherever, also you want to fire your Lock On Bursts as soon as the grenades explode and falter the Marauder).

3. Under The Mayo's Full Auto 2 or 1-Cycle:
Charge a Ballista Arbalest Shot, fire at the Marauder when he does green eyes while throwing two grenades, switch to Combat Shotgun with Full Auto while grenades are thrown, immediately fire with Full Auto while grenades are Faltering. 4. 1-Cycle Feet Ballista:
Fire at the Marauder with Ballista when he does green eyes then fire SSG then Precision Bolt, then fire at the ground near the Marauder with the Ballista to falter again then follow with SSG-PB, keep doing Feet-Ballista-SSG-PB until he's dead or staggered for GK.

It should be noted that it is possible to 0-Cycle Feet-Ballista by shooting a Sticky Bomb behind the Marauder to reach a damage threshold to perform Feet-Ballista without waiting for green eyes, but I haven't been able to pull it off. 5. 0-Cycle Cheese Ballista w/ Feet Ballista:
Cheese Ballista is simply shooting an enemy (preferably fodder) whilst the Marauder is behind said enemy, this grants the Ballista shot the ability to noclip allowing the shot to bypass the Marauder shield. After the Cheese Ballista Shot just perform Feet-Ballista-SSG-PB until the Marauder is killed.

6. 0-Cycle "Look Out" Rockets:
For this simply Lock On to the Marauder, then fire the burst to the right or left of the Marauder and switch to a weapon like SSG or Ballista and fire at the Marauder's exposed side as he blocks the Rockets, keep doing this until he dies perhaps mixing in Grenades or BP.

7. 1-Cycle Quick Swap Lock On:
This tech is a little harder to pull off but so damn effective and fast. Simply perform the Quick Swap Lock On Tech after the green eyes then fire the first Burst of Lock on a bit to the right or left of the Marauder, then fire the second burst at the Marauder himself.

Quick Swap Lock On is done by doing the normal fast PB Rocket combo, but immediately after firing the single rocket, let go of the fire button or trigger and hold the mod button or trigger to quickly lock on, fire the burst of Lock On and let go of the mod button while the first burst is firing so that you can fire a second burst immediately after.
